A RESOLUTION FIXING 'THE SALARIES OF CEH-
TAIN OFFICERS AND EMPLOYEES OF THE CiTY
OF BAKERSFIELD, CALiFOHMIA.
BE IT RESOLVED By the Council of the City of BekePsfield, as
1. Effective September 1, 1956, the following named employees
of the City of Bakersfield, shall be placed in the steps in the salary
schedules indicated below, to which their respective positions ape allo-
cated hy the Provisions of Ordinance No. 1095, New Series, and shall be
paid the monthly salaries indicated below fop services performed for the
City of Bakersfield, on and after Septeraber 1, 1956, until such time as
they advance to the next step, if shy, .in their respective schedules pur-
suant to the Provisions of said ordinance:

2. The City Council of the City of Bakersfield hereby finds and
determines that its action taken by the passage of this Resolution is jus-+
tilled by the nature of the positions held by the aforementioned employees
and the capabilities and experience of such employees, and is in conformity
with the objects and purposes of Ordinance No. 1095 ~ ..New Series.
3. This Resolution is passed and adopted pursuant to the provisions
of Section 8 said Ordinance No. 1Q95., New Series.

I HEREBY CERTZFY that the foregoing Resolution was passed and
adopted by the Council of the City ~of Bakex~sfield at a regulsr mee~i~g
thereof held on the 1Sth Day of ~ugust , 1956. ,
