RESOLUTION ORDERING PREPARATION OF ESTIMATE
OF COST, DISTRICT MAP, AND PLANS AND
SPECIFICATIONS IN THE MATTER OF THE IMPROVEMENT
OF CURBS AND GUTTERS ON DOLORES STREET BE~qEEN
THE CENTER LINE OF BEALE AVENUE AND MILLER
STREET AND IMPROVEMENT OF CURBS AND GUTTERS
ON Ov:~NS STHEET, GAGE STREET, ROBINSON STREET,
EAST HALF OF BEALE AVENUE AND THE t'~ST HALF
OF MILLER STREET, BE~'~ENTHE NORTH LINE
OF THE ALI~Y TO THE NORTH OF DOLORES STREET
AND THE SOUTH LIE OF THE ALLEY TO THE SOUTH
OF DOLORES STREET, THE SAME TO BE PROPOSED
AS PUBLIC IMPROVEMEk~T DISTRICT NO. 726~ IN
THE CITY OF BAKERSFIELD, CALIFORNIA
~rHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Bakersfield has duly
found and determined that the owners of more than sixty per cent
(60%) of the area of the property subject to assessment signed
and duly filed a written petition for improvement work hereinafter
described, as evidenced by Resolution No.
Council'of said City,

of this City
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City
of Bakersfield that the City Engineer of the said City be, and he
is hereby ordered and directed to prepare an estimate of cost of,
map of the district to be benefited by, and plans and specifications
for the following improvement work and construction to be done in
said City of Bakersfield, to wit:
The improvement of Dolores Street between the
center line of Beale Avenue and Miller Street,
and the improvement of Owens Street, Gage
Street, Robinson Street, East Half of Beale
Avenue, and the West Half of Miller Street,
between the North Line of the alley to the
North of Dolores Street and the South line of
the alley to the South of Dolores Street, said
improvements to consist of the following: The
construction of concrete curbs and gutters,
including curb return gutters and cross gutters,
and the removal of any existing substandard curbs
and gutters.
That all of the above improvement work and construction shall
be of the sizes and dimensions and done in the manner and places
and to the grades as shown and indicated on the plans and specifica~
tions therefor to be approved and adopted by this City Council of
the City of Bakersfield.

I EREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was duly passed
and adopted by the City Council of the City of Bakersfield on the
30th day of July, 1956, by the following vote:
