ALE AVENUE AND THE hrgST HALF OF MII~LER STREET, BETWEEN THE NORTH LINE OF THE ALLEY TO THE NORTH OF DOLORES STREET AND THE SOUTH LINE OF THE ALLEY TO THE SOUTH OF DOLORES STREET, THE SAME TO BE PROPOSED AS PUBLIC IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT NO. 726, IN THE CITY OF BAXERSFELD, CALIFORNIA BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Bakersfield that in regards to the improvements hereinafter described, the owners of more than sixty per cent (60%) of the area of the pro- perty subject to assessments for the proposed improvement work have signed and filed with the City Clerk of the City of Bakers- field, who is the Ex-officio Clerk of the City Council of the City of Bakersfield, the legislative body undertaking said proceedings, a written petition for said improvements and a waiver of the inves- tigation and other requirements provided by the Special Assessment Investigation, Limitation and Protest Act of 1931, in connection with said proposed improvement work and construction. The said improvement work and construction to be done in said City of Bakers- field, is described as follows, to wit: The improvement of Dolores Street between the center line of Beale Avenue and Miller ~.eet, and the improvement of Owens Street, Gage Street, Robinson Street, East Half of Beale A~enue, and the West Half of Miller Street, between the North Line of the alley to the North of Dolores Street and the South line of the alley to the South of Dolores Street, said improvements to consist of the following: The construction of concrete curbs and gutters, including curb return gutters and cross gutters, and the removal of any existing substandard curbs and gutters. ---o0o--- I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was duly passed and adopted by the City Council of ths City of Baksrsfield on the BOth day of July, 1956, by the following vote: APPROVED this BOth day of July, 1956, NARXAN S.
