RESOLUTION OF TIE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
BAKERSFIELD ORDERING THE VACATION OF VARIOUS
PATHWAYS IN THE CITY OF BAKF~.RSFIELD, CALI=
FCRNIA.
WHEREAS, on the 23rd day of April, 1956, the Council of the
City of Bathersfield, pursuant to the pikevisions of the "Public Set-
vice Easements Vacation Law", being Sections 50430 to 50445, inclu-
save, of the Government Code of the State of California, passed
adopted its Resolution of Intention No. 723, declaring its intention
to order the vacation of various path~-~ays, also referred to herein
as pedestrian walks, in Section 6, Tounship 30 South, Range 28 East,
M. D. B. & M., situated in the City of Bakersfield, County of Kern,
State of California, and
WHEREAS, said Council did fix a time and place for hearing all
persons interested in or objecting to said proposed vacation, ;-rhich
said hearing was held on the 14th day of May, 1956, after notices
were duly published and posted as required by law, and
Whereas, this Council after duly considering the matter, does
hereby find and 'resolve as follows:
1. That said various pathways, also referred to here in as
pedestrian walks, hereinafter described are unnecessary for present
or prospective public use.
Parcel No. 1. All of that particular parcel of land
designated as "Pedestrian '!-falk~-w, 10.00 feet in width~ ,
bounded on the east by the prolongation of the ~esterly
boundary line of E1 Tore Drive ~ bo~.~nded on the west by
the prolongation of the esste?ly boundary line Of the
'Public Utilities Easement,~' of 10.00 feet in width, run-
ning north and south through Block i~.~; bounded on the
north by the southerly boundary line of Lot 13, Block
N; and bounded on the south by tbs northerly boundary
line of Lot 12, Block N, as said ZHfl Tore Drive, said
"Pedestrian Walk", said '~Public Otilities Easement"
and said Lots 12 and 13, Block !,I, are shown on map of
Tract No. 1293, recorded March ~14, 1946, in BS0k 5 of
Maps, at page 125, in the office of the County Recorder
of said County of Kern.
Parcel No. 2. All of that particular parcel of land
designated as "Pedestrian ~Valk" l0 00 feet ~n vxidth,
bounded on the east by the prolongation of the westerly
boundary line of the 'Public Utilities Easement" of
10.O0 feet in width, running north and south through
Block N; bounded on the west by t_hs prolongation of
the easterly boundary line of E1 Sereno Drive; bounded
on the north by the southerly boundary line of Lot 38,
Block N; and bounded on the south b~y the northerly
boundary line of LotI39, Block N~ as said "Pedestrian
Walk", said "Public Utilities ir:~asement~' said E1 Sereno
Drive, and said Lots 38 and 39, Block N, are sho~n on

Parcel No. 3- All of that particular parcel of lsnd des-
ignat~d as "Pedestrian Walk~, 10.00 feet in ~idth, bounded
on the east by the prolongation of the ~.vesterly boundary
line of E1 Sereno Drive; bounded on the west by the pro-
longation of the easterly boundary line of the '~Public
Utilities Easement" of 5.00 feet in ~idth running north
and south through Block K; bot~nded on the north by the
southerly boundary line of I,ot 13, Block K; and bounded
on the south by the northe~ly boundary line of Lot 12,
Block K, as~ said "Pedestrian. ?Zalk~', said E1 Sereno Drive,
said "Public Utilities Ease~ent'~, and said Lots 12 and
13, Block K, are shown on map of said Tract No. 1293.
Parcel No. 4- All of that particular parcel ~of land
designated as "Pedestrian Walk", lO.00 feet in ~,~idth~
bounded on the east b the prolongation of the v~esterly
boundary line of the ~'Publi~ Utilities Easeinent" of 5.00
feet in width running north and south through Block K;
bounded on the west by the prolongation of the easterly
boundary line of South Chester ,.~vsnue of 170 feet in
width; bounded on the north by the southerly boundary
line of Lot 38, Block K; and bounded on the south by the
northerly boundary line of Lot 39, Block K, as said. "Psdes-

Parcel No. 5. All of that particular parcel of land desig-
nated as "Pedestrian Walk~', 10.00 feet in ~,~idth, bounded
on the east by the prolongation of the ~,~esterly boundary
line of South Chester Avex~e of 170 feet in ~,yidth; botuqded
on the west by the prolongation of the easterly boundary
line of the "Public Utilities Easement" of ~o00 feet in
width running north and south through Block G~ bottnded on
the north by the southerly boundary line of Lot 13, Block
G; and bounded on the south. by the northerly boundary
line of Lot 12, Block G, as said "Pedestrian ~.Valk", said
South Chester Avenue, said ~:rt~.blic Utilities Easement",
and said Lots 12 and 13, Block G, are sho~.~n on map of said
Tract No. 1153.
Parcel No. 6. All~of that particula~ parcel ~of land desig-
nated as "Pedestrian Walk'~, lO.00 feet in ~idth, bounded on
the east by the prolongation of the westerly boundary line
of the "Public Utilities Easement" of 5.00 feet in ~;idth
running north and south t_hrough Block +G; bounded on the
West by the prolongation of the easterly boundary line of
E1 Rancho Drive; bounded on the horth by the southerly
boundary line of Lot 38, Block G; and bounded on the South
by the northerly boundary line of Lot 39, Block G~, as said
"Pedestrian Walk", said' "Public Utilities Easement~'',
said E1 Rancho Drive. and said Lots 38 and 39, Block G,

19~0, in Book 5 of Maps, at pages .21 and 22 in the office
of the said County Recorder.
Parcel No. 7. All of that part'icular parcel of land
designated as "Pedestrian ?Yalk", 10.00 feet in width,
bounded on the east by the prolongation of the ~.~ssterly
boundary line of E1 Rancho Drive; bounded on the ~-~est
by the prolongation of the easterly boundary line of the
"Public Utilities Easement';, of 5.00 feet in ~idth, run-
ning north and south through Block D; bounded on the north
by the southerly boundary line of Lot 13, Block D; and
bounded on the south by the northerly boundary line of
Lot 12, Block D, as said "Pedestrian Walk", said E1 R~uncho
Drive, said "Public Utilities Easement" and said Lots 12
and 13, H. lock D, are sho~vn on map of said Tract No. 1163.
2. That said various path~yayS in the City of Bake_~sfield, be
and the sam ~ hereby vacated and abandoned for public service ease-
ment purposes, subject to and in conformity ~.xith said Resolution of
Intention No. 723. Reference to said Resolution of Intention is here-
by made for further particulars.
3- The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this Resolu-
tion and shall cause a certified copy hereof, attested by ths Clerk un-
der seal of the Cit~ to be recorded in the office of the County Record-
er of the County of Kern, California.

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was passed and
adopted by the Council of the City of Bakersfield, at a Pegula~ meet-
ing thereof held on the 14th day of "May, I195!8, by the following vote:
