A RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF BAKERSFIELD ORDERING THE
CATION AND REDUCTION OF VARIOUS PUB-
LIC SERVICE EASEmeNTS IN TRACT N0.
1738 ~N THE CITY OF BAKERSFIELD,CALI-
FORNIA.
WHEREAS, on the 16th day of April, 1956, the Council of
the City of Bakersfield, pursuant to the provisions of the "Public
Service Easements Vacation Law", being Sections 50430 t0 504~5, in-
clusive, of the Government Code of the State of California, passed
and adopted its Resolution of Intention No.. 721, declaring its in-
tention to order the vacation and reduction of various public ser-
vice easements, also referred to herein as public utilities ease-
ments, in the Northwest 1/4 of the Southeast 1/~ of Section 7, Town-
ship 30 South, Range 28 East, M. D. B. & M., consisting of various
parcels in Tract No. 1738, situate in the City of Bakersfield,
County of Kern, State of California, and
WHEREAS, said Council did fix a time and place for hearing
all persons interested in or objecting to said proposed vacation,
which said hearing was held on the 7th day of May, 1956, after no-
tices were duly published and posted as required by law, and
WHEREAS, this Council after duly considering the matter, does
hereby find and re solve as follows:
1. That said public service easement also referred to here-
in as Public Utilities Easements, hereinafter described are unneces-
sary for present or prospective public use:
Parcel No. 1. All of that particular ps_~cel of land
designated as a "Public Utilities Easement" of 5.00
feet in width adjacent to the Southwest boundary line
of Lot 65, as said "Public Utilities Easement" and
said Lot 65 are shown on map of Tract No. 1738, recorded
November 19, 195~, in Book 8 of Maps, at Page 167, in
the office of the County Recorder of said ,County of Kern~
Parcel No. 2. All of that particular parcel of land
designated as a "Public Utilities Easement" of 5.00 feet
in width, adjacent to the Southwest boundary line of
~ot 84 lying Northwest of the "Public Utilities Ease-
ment" of 5.00 feet in width adjacent to the Southeast

boundary line of said Lot 84~ as said "public Utili-
ties Easements" and said Lot 84 are sho~n on said
map of Tract No. 1738.
Parcel No. 3. All of that particular parcel of land
designated as a "Public Utilities Easement of 5.00
feet in width, adjacent to the Southwest boundary line
of Lot *1, excepting therefrom a parcel of land 2.00
feet in width adjacent to said South~-~est boundary
line of ~.ot 1, and as said Public Utilities Easement"
and said Lot 1 is shown on map of said Tract No.1738.
Parcel No. 4- All of that particular parcel of land
designated as a "Public Utilities Easement"of 5.00 feet
in width, adjacent to the South~vest boundary line of
Lot 52, excepting therefrom a parcel of land 2.00 fast
in width, adjacent to the said South~,~est boundary line
of Lot 52, as said "Public Utilities Easement" and said
Lot 52 is shown on said map cf T~act No. 1738-
2. That said public service easementsbe and the same are hereby
vacated and abandoned for public service easement purposes, subject
to and in conformity with said Resolution of Intention No. 721.

3. The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this Resolution,
and shall cause a certified copy thereof, attested by the Clerk under
the seal of the City, to be recorded in the office of the County Re-
corder of the County of Kern, California.

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution ~as passed and ad-
opted by the Council of the City of Bakersfield, at a regular meeting
thereof held on the 7th day of May, 1956, by the follo~ing vote:
