RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF TE CiTY
OF BAKERSFIELD EST~3LISHING VOTING PRE-
CINCTS AND OFFICERS OF ELECTION DT THE
MATTER OF THE ANNEF~tTION OF GREATER BAKERS-
FIELD METROPOLITAN &RF~ TO THE CITY OF
BAKERSFIELD, CALIFORNIA°
BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Bakersfield,
as follows:
t. The voting precincts'and the places at which polls will
be open for the election to be held june 5, 1956, on the question
of annexation of Greater Bakersfield Metropolitan Area to the City
of Bakersfield, shall be the same as those designated by the Board
of Supervisors of the County of Kern, for the conduct of said election
within said territory, and as commonly used for voting 'within the
territory.
2. The officers of election for each voting place for the
conduct of the election to be held June 5, 1956 on the question of
annexation of Greater Bakersfield Metropolitan Area to the City of
Bakersfield, shall be the same as those appointed by the Board of
Supervisors of the County of Kern, within said territory.

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the 'foregoing Resolution was passed and
adopted by the Council of the City of Bakersfield at a regular meeting
thereof held on the 30th day of April, 1956, by the following vote:
