WBERSIS, tn. C~.y of Bakersfield is desirous of purchasing
certain properties in said Oity to be used for oft-street parking,
and
Said Cltyh...an opportunity of purchasing said properties,
which properties have been duly appraised and the cost thereof appears
to be and is determin.a.to~,e the reasonable value of said properties.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE 1'1'.' liESOLVBD by the Council of the C1 ty of
Bakersfield, that the Hayor be and he is hereby authorized to pur-
chase the following4escribed properties, and the City Auditor is
hereby authorized to 1'..6 to and place in escrow with a duly licensed
abstractor title ineur$llce cOlQ.pany, checks of the City of Ba.kersfield,

together with the necessary escrow fees and/or other costs in con-
nection with the purchase of said properties.
All payments authorised hereunder shall be made from the pro-

Bonds.
