RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE ..~
CITY OF BAYERSFIELD, CALIFORNIA, OVERRULING
PROTESTS MADE IN CONNECTION WITH RESOLUTION ~
OF INTENTION NO, 715 CONCERNING THE IMPROVEMENT
OF H STREET BETV~EN THE CENTER LINE OF GOLDEN ~
STATE AVENUE AND THE SOUT~IESTERLY RIGHT OF "
W~\Y LINE OF THE SOUTHERN PACIFIC RAILROAD, ~
AND DETERMINING THAT ALL SIDEWALK. IMPROVEMENTS
SHOULD BE DELEATED FROM THE PROPOSED .WORK
DESCRIRED IN THE SAID RESOLUTION OF INTENTION

BE IT RESOLVED by this City C0u~cil of the City of Bakersfield
that it does hereby overrule all protests made in connection with
and concerning Resolution of Intention No. 719; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by this City Council t'hat it does
hereby find and determine that the portion of the work proposed
to be done in said Resolution of Intention No. 71~ having to do
with the construction of sidewalks be deleated from the said
resolution of intention as well as the plans and specifications
of said work on file with the City Clerk and Director of Public
Works of said City; that it is estimated by the Director of Public
Works of said City that the deleation of said work shall operate
to decrease the cost of all proposed work to be done under Resolu-
tion of Intention No. 715 from $29,746.51 to $26,746.51.
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that on October 24, 1955~ at the hour
of 8:00 P.M., in the chambers of the City Hall of said City of
Bakersfield, an~ interested person having any objections to the
said proposed deleation may appear before the legislative body
and show cause why said changes should not be ordered. Objections
must be in writing and filed with the City Clerk prior to the time
set for hearing.

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing "resolution was duly
passed and adopted by the City Council of the City of Bakersfield
