BE IT RESOLW~D by the Counoi!~ of the City of Bakersfie!d~
follows:
1. Effective
1955, the following named
employees of the City of Bakersfield shall be placed in the steps in
the salary schedules indicated below~ to which their respective
positions are allocated by the provisions of Ordinance No. 879~ New
Series, as amend. ed, and shall be paid the monthly salaries indicated
below for services performed for the City of Bakersfield, on and
after_ 0.~ct~p~b_er 1B , 19~, until such time as they advance to
the next step in their respective schedules pursuant to the provisions
of said Ordinance:

Justified by the nature of the positions held by the aforementioned
employees and the capabilities and. experience of such employees, and
is in conformity with the objects .and purposes of the basic salary pla~
3. This Resolution is passed and adopted pursuant to the pro~
visions of Section 8 (e) of Ordinance Noo~879~ New Series, as amended.
