Under Resolution No. 46-55, certain funds received from
the State 'have been placed in the funds of the City and referred
to as "Highway Users, Tax Fund" And
WHEREAS, it is the desire of the Council to make reference
to said funds by its proper designation as set forth in Ordinance
No. 469, New Series of the City of Bakersfield, to wit:'-'~Special
Gas Tax Street Improvement Fund"..
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that said account ~referred
to in said .Resolution as 33-592, be and the same is hereby designated
as "Special Gas Tax Street Improvement Fund", and
WHEREAS, it is the desire c~ the City to contribute the sum
of $32,749.44 as the City, s contr'ibution toward the work of improved
ment 'known and designated as Public Improvement District No. 709
for the* improvement of F Street between 19th Street and 24th Street
in the City of Bakersfield, and for''I S~h purpose desires to appro-
priate said sum from said Special Gas Tax Street Improvement Fund.
NOU,~ THEREFORE, BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by the Council of
the City of Bakersfield that the .sum of $32,749,44 be and the same
is hereby appropriated from the Special Gas Tax Street Improvement
Fund to be contributed toward the~ work of. improvement of F Street'
between 19th Street and 24th Street, kno~m and designated as Public
Improvement District No. 709.
