E-ADOPTING RESOLUTION OF
INTENTION NO. 714,
WHEREAS, on the 8th day of August, 1955, the City Council
of the City of Bakersfield duly passed'and'adoptedResolution
of Intention 714, whereunder a hearing thereon' in front of this
City Council was fixed for Augus~ 15, 1955; and
WHEREAS, it is now desired by said city.council of the city
of Bakersfield to change the date of said meeting to September 5,
1955, in lieu and in place of the aforesaid date of hearing,
NOW .THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that this City Council of the
City of Bakersfield, California, establishes and fixes the ~th
day of September, 1955, at the hour of eight (8:00) o'clock P. M.,
in the chambers of the City Council in the City Hall of said City
of Bakersfield as the time and pliace where .~any and all persons
have any objections to the proposed work or improvement, or to
the extent of the assessment district or to the proposed grades
of the work and assessment district set forth in Resolutionof
Intention No. 714, may appear before the said City Council to
show cause why said work should not be done or carried. out.in
contract with Resolution of'Intention No. 714,'it 'being again
noted that protests must be in writing and must be delivered to·
the City Clerk prior to this time set fortthe hearing of said
.Resolution of Intention No. 714.. ~
BE'IT FURTHER RESOLVED that,~said Resolution of Intention No.

714 be modified to the extent necessary~ to change the date of said
hearing as 'above set forth and'"~at"thiS"bity~C~d~ci~"bfl~the city
of Bakersfield does,hereby ratify and re-adopt the said Resolution
of Intention 714 as previously resolved'by this City Council on
the 8th.day of August, 1955, in al.1 respects, except asabove
specifically modified and amended.~

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was duly
