A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF BAKERSFIELD,. CALIFORNIA DETERMINING
THAT OWNERS OF OVER SIXTY. PER CENT OF AREA
SUBJECT TO ASSESSMENT WITHIN PROPOSED
PUBLIC IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT # 715 HAVE
DULY PETITIONED FOR THE PROPOSED IMPROVEMENT
WORK THEREIN

BE IT RESOLVED that this City Council of the City of Bakers-
field, California,'finds that there'Waspresented by the City Clerk
to this City CoUncil at this regular meeting'thereof on this 15th
day of August, 1955, a written petition previously filed in the
office of the s~id City Clerk which was signed by the owners of
over sixty (60) per cent in area of the property subject to
assessment for the proposed improvement work to be done in the
proposed Public Improvement DistrictI No. 715 and that said peti-
tion waives the necessity of investigation proceedings under the
provisions of.THE SPECIAL ASSESSMENT INVESTIGATION, LIMITATION AND
MAJORITY PROTEST ACT OF 1931, as Set forth in the Streets and
Highways Code of the State of California.

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was duly
passed and adopted by the City Council of the City of Bakersfield
on the i5th day of August, 1955, by the following vote:
