contemplate the install&'tion of traffic signals and intersection
illumination at .the inte~sectionS:'of Chester Lane, 18th and'19th
Streets W,~h State Hi.'~ghway Route VI-Ker-141-A '(Oak Street) at Bakers-
field, California,'and -. ' -
WHEREAS, the ~ity of Bakersfield is willing to reimburse the
State for City's share of the expense of the engineering,.inspection
and construction costs to complete the aforementioned work, and to
enter into an agreement with State therefor.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED bY the Council of the City of
Bakersfield, that the Mayor of said City is hereby"authorized to'
execute the aforementioned agreement with the,State of California
for the installation of traffic signals.and intersection illumination
at theintersectionS'of .Chester lane, 18th Street and 19th Street
with State Highway Route VI-Ker-141,A (Oak Street) at Bakersfield,
California.
