A RESOLUTION FIXING THE SALARIES OF
CERTAIN OFFICERS· ANDEMPLOYEES OF~ THE
CITY OF BAKERSFIELD, CALIFORNIA.
BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the .City of Bakersfield, as
follows=
1. ·Effective July l, 1955, the following named officers and em-
ployees of the City of Bakersfield Shall be placed in the steps in the
salary schedules indicated below, to which their ·respective positions
are allocated by the provisions of Ordinance No. 879,-New Series', as
ranended, and shall be paid the monthly salaries indicated bolo~ for
services performed for the City of Bakersfield, on and after Jul~.~ l,
1955, until such time as they advance to the next step in their
spective schedules pursuant to the provisions of said

2. The City Council of the City of~Bakersfield hereby finds and
determines that its action taken by the passage~ of 'this Resolution is
~u~+tifiS'~ by the~ature of the positions held by the aforementioned
employees and the 'capabilities and experience of such employeeS, and
.is in conformity with the objects and purposes o~ the basic salary plan..
3, This Resolution is passedi and adopted~purs~ant to the
provisions of Section 8 (e) of 0rdi~ancS No~, 879, New Series~ as

X HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was passed and
adopted by the Council of the City of Bakersfield at a regular meet-
