RESOLUTION DECLARING RESULT~0F CANVASS OF
RETURNS OF GENERAL MUNICIPAL ELECTION HELD
IN TitE SIXTH WARD 0F THE CITY 0F BAKERSFIELD
ON TUESDAY, APRIL 12, 1955, FOR THE pURPOSE
0P ELECTING A COUNCILMAN IN SAID WARD°,
WHEREAS, by Resoluteion No~ 28-55~ passed and adopted by
this .Council on March 28, 1955, a.general municipal election was
~held in' the Sixth Ward of the City of Bakersfield on the 12the day
of April, 1955, for the purpose of electing a councilman in said Ward
for a full .term of four years, and
WHEREAS, after notice as required by lm~ said· election was
duly held and conducted on the aforesaid date, and the returns of
said election have been canvassed by this Council, sitting as a
canvassing board.
NOW, TF~.REFORE, in compliance with Section 7921 of the
Elections Code of the State of Calif0'rnia, this Council does hereby
determine and declare the results of said election'to be as follows:

BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that Don Doolin is hereby declared
to be elected to the offic~ of City ,~ouncilman from the Sixth Ward
of the City of Bakersfield for afUll ~t~rm~of four years.

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was passed
and adopted by the Council of the City of Bakersfield at a regular
meeting thereof held on the 18th day of April, 1955, by the follow-
