CERTAIN OFFICERS AND EMPLOYEES OF THE
CITY OF BAKERSFIELD, CALIFORNIA.
BE IT RESOLVED by the Council' of the City of Bakersfield,
as follows:
1. Effective March 16, 1955, the following named officers
and employees of the City of BakerSfield shall .be placed in. the steps
in the salary.schedules indicated below, to ·which their respective
positions are allocated by the provisions of Ordinance No. 879, New
Series, as amended, and shall be paid 'the monthly salaries indicated
below for services performed for t~s City of Bakersfield, On and after
March 16, .1955, until such time as ::they advance to the next step in
their respective schedules PursUant'. to the provisions of said Ordi-
nance:

2. The City Council oF the City of Bakersfield hereby finds and
"~etermines that its action taken by the 'passage of this .I'~oiution is
justified by the nature of the positions held by the aforementioned
employees and the capabilities and experience of such employees, and
is in conformity with the objects and purposes of the basic salary plan.
