A RESOLUTION FIXING THE SALARIES OF
CERTAIN OFFICERS AND EMPLOYEES OF THE'
CITY OF BAKERSFIELD, CALIFORNIA.
BE'ITRESOLVED by the Council of the.City of Bakersfield,
as follows:
i. Effective March 1, 1955' the following named employees
of the City of Bakersfield shall be placed in the'steps in the salary
schedules indicated below, to which their respective positions are
allocated by the provisions of Ordinance No. 879, New Series, as
amended, and shall be paid the monthly salaries indicated'below
for 'Services performed for the City Of Bakersfield, on and after
March 1, 1955, until such time as they advance to the next step in
their respective schedules pursuant to the provisions of said 0rdi-
nanoe:

2. The City Council of the !City of Bakersfield hereby finds
and determines that its action taken by the passage of this resolution
is Justified by the nature of the positions held by ·the aforementioned
'employees and the capabilities and.experience of such employees, and
is in conformity with Ithe objects and purposes of the basic salary plan.
3. This resolution is passed and adopted pursuant to the
provisions of Section 8 (e) of 0rdinanceNo.~ 879, New Series, as
