RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF BAKERSFIELD, CALIFORNIA,
AWARDING CONTRACT FOR WORK OR IMPROVE-
MENT ORDERED BY RESOLUTION N0..33-66
(Public Improvement District No. 810
Columbus Street)
WHEREAS, in proceedings under the Improvement Act
of 1911, this City Council adopted Resolution No. 33-66
ordering the giving of notice inviting bids for all that work
of Intention
described in resolution of intention, Resolution/No. 810 ,
and a notice inviting sealed bids for doing said work has been
duly published and posted; and
WHEREAS, at the time and place fixed, all sealed
bids for said work which were duly filed with the City Clerk
of said city were, in open session, opened, examined' and declared
by said City Clerk at a public meeting called by her at the
aforesaid time and place and said City Clerk has reported the
results of said bidding to this City Council;
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of
Bakersfield, California, DOES HEREBY RESOLVE, DETERMINE AND ORDER
as follows:
Section 1. The bid of Joe C. Brown
is the lowest bid for said work of any responsible bidder and
is accompanied by a good and sufficient bid check or bond which
is satisfactory to t'his City Council. Said bid is hereby accepted
and the contract for said work awarded to the above-named bidder
at the prices named in said bid.

Section 2. All bids, other than the bid above
accepted, are hereby rejected and the City Clerk is directed
to return to each bidder whose bid is so rejected the check
or bond which accompanied his bid.
Section 3. The City Clerk is hereby directed to
publish a notice of this award in the time, form and manner pro-
vided by law.
