A RESOLUTION OF TEE COUNCIL OF THE CXTY OF
BA~ERSFIELD PRESCR~X~G THE MOLZDAYS DURING
TEE YEAR 196es TO W~t~C~ ALL EMPLOYEES OF THE
ClT~ OF BAKERSFIELD SMALL BE ENTITLED°
WMEREAS, Section 3°64°330 of the Municipal Code of the
City of Bakers field provides that all employees of the City shall
be entitled to eight holidays per year, which said holidays shall
be selected and' enumerated by resolution of the Council during the
month of December preceding each calendar year for which said
holidays are to be selected.
NOW~ TMEP~FORE~ BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City
of Bakersfield, that the following holidays are hereby selected as
the legal holidays for the employees of the City of Bakersfield
for the year 1966:
February 22rid ~. Washington ~ s Birthday
May 30th' o Memorial Day
July 4th = Independence Day
September 5th o Labor Day
October 12th - Col;,mbus Day
November llth - Veteranss Day
November 24th ~ Thanksgiving Day
December 25th ~ Chris~mas Day
(Monday~ December 26~ is selected as a
holiday since Christmas Day falls on a
Sunday in 1966. )
