RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF BAKERSFIELD, CALIFORNIA,
ORDERING THE FILING OF ESTIMATE, PLANS,
SPECIFICATIONS AND DISTRICT MAP FOR·
CERTAIN STREET WORK.
(Public Improvement District No. 800,
Robinson - 9th)
WHEREAS, proceedings are to be taken under the
Improvement Act of 1911, for the proposed construction
of certain street work on Robinson Street, 9th Street and
other streets in the City of Bakersfield, and
WHEREAS, this City Council has been presented
with a careful estimate of the cost and expenses of said
work, plans designated "Plan and Profile for Public
Improvement District No. 800'i (consisting of four sheets,
numbered 1 to 4, inclusive), specifications designated
"Specifications Public Improvement District No 800"
and a map designated "Map of Assessment District for
Public Improvement District No. ·800" (consisting of one
(!) sheet), showing the boundaries of the territory to
be benefited by said 'work and to be assessed to pay the
cost and expense of said work.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City
of Bakersfield, California, DOES HEREBY RESOLVE, DETERMINE
AND ORDER as follows:
Section 1.
Said estimate, plans and
specifications are hereby approved and are ordered·to
be filed with the City Clerk.
Section 2. Said map of the assessment
district is hereby app·roved. The City Clerk is hereby
directed to endorse her certificate on the original' and
a copy of said map of the assessment district· evidencing
the adoption of the resolution of intention, to file the
original of. said map in the office of the City Clerk and
to file said copy with ·the County Recorder of the County
of Kern.
Section 3. The provisions for the payment
of liquidated damages as set forth in said specifications
are hereby approved and ordered to be specified in the
contract. The amount of said damages and the terms and
conditions under which the same shall be payable are
hereby fixed as providedin said specifications.
