VASTION OF AN ALL~ IN Bi~CK 319 IN SAiD
WI{EKEAS~ on the 23rd day of August~ 1965 the Got~tcil of
the City ef Bakersfield~ pursuant to the provisions of the
Vacation Act of 1941"~ being Division 9s part 3~ (Sections 8300~
et seqo) of the Streets and Higb,~ays Code of 'the State of Califor~-
nia~ passed and adopted its Resolution of intention No~ 804~
declaring its intention to order the vacation of an alley situate
within the City of Bakersfieid~ County of Kern~ State of California~
WHEREAS~ said Council did fix a time and place for hearing
all persons interested in or objecting to said proposed vacations
which said hearing was held on the 13th day of September~ 1965~
after Notices ~ere duly posted as ~equired by la~ and
WHEFJJAS~ this Co~ncil after duly considering the matters.
does hereby find and resolve as follows:
1, That that east~west alley in Block 319~ in the City
of Bakersfield~ County of Kern~ State of California, described as
fol.-lows~ is unnecessary for present or prospective public street
purposes:
~e twenty foot (20~) east~west alley (being the
north ten feet (i0~) of Lot 5 and the south ten
feet (10~) of Lot 6)~ in Block 3i9~ City of
Bakersfield~ as same is sho~4~n on the 'map of
Bakersfield filed for record November 25~ i898~
'in Book t of Maps at pages 13 and 14~ in the
office of the County Recorder~ County of Kern~
State of California~
EXCEPTING kND P~SEPj%~ING all of the above alley
. as _a public uti!i.ti~s easement°.
2o That said alley be and the same is hereby closed up~
vacated and abandoned for public street purposes~ subject to and
in conformity with the reservation of the easement contained in aLd
contemplated by said Resolution of Intention No, 804~ Reference
to said Resolution of Zntention is hereby made for further partic,~
ularso
3o The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this
Resolution and shall cause a certified copy hereof~ attested by
the Clerk unde~ the seal of the CiCy~ Co be recorded in the Office
of the County Recorder of the County of Kern, California°
I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was
passed and adopted by the Council of the City of Bakersfield at a
regular meeting thereof he].d on the 13th day of September~ 1965~
