HomeMy WebLinkAboutRES NO 52-65RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CI?f OF BAKERSFIELD ORDERIN~THEVACAT][ON OF PORTIONS O~ SOUTIt CI~.STt~R AVENUE~ C~T~f OF B~RSFXELDo WH~REAS~ on ~he 26th day of July, 1965~ the Council of the City of Bakers field ~ pursuant to the provisions of tile Vacation Act of 1941"~ being Division 9~ Part 3, of the Streets and Mighways Code of the State of California~ passed and adopted its Resolution of intention Noo 803, declaring its intention to order the vacation of portions of South Chester Avenue, City Bakersfield, California; and WHEREAS, said Council did fix a time and place for hearing all persons interested in or objecting to said proposed vacation, which said hearing was held on the 23rd day of August~ 1965~ after notices were duly posted as required by law, and WHEREAS~ this Council after duly considering the mat~er~ does hereby find and resolve as follows~ 1o That those portions of South ChesZer Avenue situate in the City of Bakersfield, County of Kern~ State of California, as said Avenue is shown upon a map of Tract Moo 1153 recorded in Maps~ Book 4~ Page 195~ Kern County'Records~ said portions being' more particularly described as follows~ are unnecessary for present or prospective public s~reet purposes: PAECEL A: Beginning at a poin'~ in the northerly line of Case Loma Drive~ distant thereon 74°43 feet easterly from ~he southwest corner of Lot 5~ Block E of said Tract 1153~ said point being the beginning of a tangent curve at the southeast corner of said Lot 51 THENCE (1) following the boundary of said Lot 5 and curving~'t~"~He~" .left from a tangent which bears N.89°53~40~o~ with a 2 radius of 20 feet~ through an arc of 103°13~ 6"' for distance of B6~03 feet to a point of reverse cu~e the easterly line of said Lot~ said point lying in the westerly llne ef South Chester Avenue~ Tm cE ( 2 ) along said westerly line of South Chester Avenue and curving to ~he right from a tangent which bears No 13° 19 46'~4o ~ with a radius of 2105 feet~ through an arc of 6°33 43'~ for a distance of 241o08 feet to a point of reverse curve in the easterly line of Lot 1 of the aforementioned Block E;
