WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Bakersfield, pursuant to Sections 22357 and 22358 of the California Vehicle Code and Chapter 10.24 of the Bakersfield Municipal Code, desires to enact prima facie speed limits on portions of a roadway within the City of Bakersfield; and WHEREAS, said prima facie speed limits are being established for streets in the City of Bakersfield after traffic engineering surveys were conducted; and NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Bakersfield as follows: The foregoing recitals are true and incorporated herein. 2.
