WMEREAS~ on July 26D 1965~ a public hearing was held
before the City Council in order to determine if the property in
the City of Bakersfield located as follows had become a public
nuisance:

WHEREASp the owners of said property were duly notified of
the time and place of said hearing in accordance with' the require~
ments of Section 8°80 of the Bakers field Municipal Code~ and
IqMEREAS~ after hearing oral testimony the City Council
determined that the weeds existing on said property are unsightly
and constitute a fire hazard which endangers adjoining properties~
NOW~ TMEREFORE~ BE IT RESOLVED=
l o That the City Council of the City of Bakers field
hereby finds that a public nuisance exists on the foregoing
propert ies o
2o That the Superintenden~ of Streets of the City of
Bakersfield is hereby directed to proceed with the work of aba~ing
said public nuisance pursuant to the provisions of Section 8°80 of
the Bakers field Municipal Code'.
I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was
passed and adopted by the Council of the City of Bakersfield at a
regular meeting thereof held on the 23rd day of August~ 1965, by
the following vote:
