A RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
BAKERSFYELD ORDERING THE VACATION OF A PUBLIC
UTILITIES EASEMENT ALONG THE SOUTH AND EAST
LINES OF THE SOUTT~AST QUARTER OF SECTION

WHEREAS, on the 12th day of July, 1965~ the Council of
the City of Bakersfield, pursuant to the provisions of the '~ublic
Service Easements Vacation Law~ being Sections 50430 to 50445~
inclusive~ of the Government Code of the State of California~
passed and adopted. its Resolution of Xntention Noo 8029 declaring
its intention to order the vacation of a public service easement~
also referred to heroin as a public utili~ies easement, along the
south and east lines of the southeast quarter of Section 1~' To 29
So, Ro 28 Eo MoDoMo, situate within the City of Bakersfield, County
of ~ern~ State of California, and
WHEREAS~ said CounCil did fix a time and place for
hearing all persons interested in or objecting to said proposed
vacation~ which said Hearing was held on the ~th day of August~
1~65~ after notices were duly published and posted as required by
law~ and
WHEREAS~ this Council after duly considering
does hereby find and ~esolve ss follows:
1~ That said public service easement also referred
heroin as public u~ili~ies easemen~ heroinafter described,
unnecessary for pre~en~ or prospective public usec
Beginning at the So E, corner of said Section

line of ~he S.Eol/4 of said Section 15~'thence No43~
31~23'~q., 13o64 fee~ thence N.$9°lg~3T'Eo, 805°08
feet parallel to and ten (10) feet northerl of the
south line of the SoE.1/4 of said Section l~; thence
No0°00~ 35"~ W., 1370o57 feet parallel to and ten
feet westerly of th~ East line of the SoEol/~ of the said
Section 15 to a point on a curve from which point the
center of said curve bears N.eg°47~33~Wo, 1055°00 feet;
thence along said curve am a Northeasterly direction
a point on the East line of the S.E.I/4 of said Section
15 from which point the center of said curve bears No71

15 to the true point of beginning.
2o That said public service easement be and the same is
hereby vacated and abandoned for public service easement purposes~
subject to and in conformity with said Resolution of Xntention
802. Reference to said Resolution of intention is hereby made for
further particulars°
3. The City Clerk shall certify to the passage of this
~esolution, and shall cause a certified copy thereof~ attested by
the Clerk under the seal of the City~ to be recorded in the office
of the County Recorder of Kern County~ California°
