BE IT R~SOLVED by the Council of the City of BakersfieXd=
SECTION 1o That it is the intention of the Council of
the City of Bakersfield to call a special election to be held in
certain inhabited ~erri~ory contiguous ~o sa~d ci~y~ proposed ~o
be a~exed therefor. for the purpose of subm~ng to the q~l~f~ed
electors re~d~ng in ~aid territo~ the question whether or
sa~d territory s~ll be annexed to ~he City-of Bakerafield and the
property in the ~errito~ to be annexed be .subjected to taxation
after anne~tion eq~lly wi~h the property within ~he City of
Bakersfield, to pay the bonded indebtedness of the City of ~akers~
field outstanding for '~he ~cquisition, const~ction or completion
of ~icipal improvements~

SECTION 2~ ~at said territory is hereby des, i~ate~ ~nd
identified for such election purposes and for use upon the ballots
at such election as "MING NO~ 3"~
SECTION 3~ Notice is hereby given t~t on the 23rd day
of Au~st,~ 1965D at the hour of 8:00 P~M~ in the Council C~mber

which is to be desigrtmted as MING NG. 3, said parcel described as follows:
:% parcel of land situate in the County of item, State of California, and being a
pa*tion of the southwest quarter (S'~rl/4) of Section 1, Yownship 30 South,
Range 27 East, M.D.Mt
Beginning at the southeast corner of Lot 44, as said Lot 44 is shown on the
*' Kern County Sales Map No. I of Lands of y. B. Haggin" filed for record
May 3, 1889, in the office of the County Recorder of said Kern ~ourtty,
said southeast as'Mr heing a point on the rtortherly rtght of way line of
Ming Avenue, and also being a point on the cm'p0rate boundary of the City
of Bakersfield as defined by Ordinance No. 1199, New Series;
