WPIE~EAS~ on June 28~ 1~65~ ~here was filed with the City
Clerk of the City of Bakersfield a copy of Notice of Intention to
Circulate Petition Relating to Annexation of Certain Territory to
the City of Bakersfield Under the Annexation Act of 1913 pertaining
to territory designated as Mtng Noo 3~ together with an affidavit
of publication of said no~ice showing publication thereof on
June 22~ 1965~ in The Bakersfield Californian~ a newspaper of
general circulation published in the City of Bakersfteld~ and
WHEREAS~ the A3mnexation Act of 1913 provides that the
legislative body may adopt a resolution acknowledging receipt of
the notice and approving the circulation of the petition~
NOW~ THEREFORE p BE ~T RESOLVED by the Council of the City
of Bakersfield~
1o Tha~ the receipt of the no~ice and affidavi~ of
p~blicatlon be and the same is hereby acknowledged~ and tb~t
approval be and is hereby given for the circulation of the petition
for annexation of ~hat certain territozy~ designated as Ming Moo 3
~Fenty=one days after the publication of said notice~
2o The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of this
resolution°
