RESOLUTION CALLiNG A GENEi~AL i~jNiCiPAL ELECTION
IN T}~ CITf OF BAKERSFiELD TO BE i,ELD ON TUESDAY~

COUNCIiai~N IN THE THIRD WARD; ESZABLISHiNG

OFFICERS AND DESiGNATiNG POLLING PtACES FOR SAID
ELECTION.
BE ST RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Bakersfield as
follows:
That a general municipal eiec'cion is hereby called to be
held in the City of Bakers field on Tuesday~ the 13th day of Apri!~
1965~ for the purpose of electing a councilman in the Third Ward
for a full term of four years~ The candidates entitled ~o have
their names placed on the ballot are as follows:

~at 'there shall be sixteen conso!id~ted election precincts
as hereinaf~er designated within said Third Ward. of the City of
Bakers field for the purpose of holding said general municipal
elec~iono Said consolidated precincts shall consist of '~he precincts
heretofore last established by the Board of Supervisors of the County
of Xern for the holding of general. state elections and the same are
hereby consolidated into sixteen consolidated election precincts
for the purpose of holding said general municipal election. A
majority of the Council of the City of Bakersfield hereby determines
one inspector~ one Judge and two clerks a sufficient precinct
board in each consolidated precinct. The nu~bers of the respective
consolidated precincts and the officers to conduct said general
municipal election in each of said consolidated preci~c'~ and the
polling places for each of said consolidated precincts~ are hereby
