SUPERINTENDENT OF STREETS TO DESTROY SAID WEEDS

in the City of Bakersfield had become a public nuisance, and
WHEREAS, the owners of said property Were dulyz notified
of the time and place of said hearing-in accordance with the require-
ments of Section 8.80 of'the Bakersfield'Municip·al-Code, and
WHEREAS, after hearing oral testimony· the zCity ·Council
determined.that'the weeds existing on said prqperty ·are·unsightly
and constitute a fire hazard which endangers adjoining p~operties,
NOW,. THEREFORE,IBE IT 'RESOLVED:
1. That 'the City Council of the'City of'Bakers·field
hereby finds that a public nuisance exists'on ~heforegoing
properties
2. That the Superintendent of Streets of. the"City.of,
Baker~field is..hereby directed·'to proceed. with the work of·abating
said public nuisance pursuant to the provisions of·Secti0n'8.80 of
the Bakersfield Municipal Code.
