A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF BAKERSFIELD; CALIFORNIA, APPROVING
AND.ADOPTING THE BIrDGET FOR THE FISCAL
YEAR 1964-65.
WHEREAS, in accordance with the dharter of 'the City of
Bakers field and applicable ordinances, the ',City Manager and' the
Auditor Controller of the City of Bakersfiel'd, have' heretofore pre-
sented to the City Council 6f said City a proposed budget for the
fiscal year 1964-65; and -
-WHEREAS, the City Council 'did modify, ~correct, amend and
change said proposed budget for the fiscal year 1964-65;-and
WHEREAS, public hearings were held in the Council
Chambers of the City of BakerSfield on the .'proposed budget for the
fiscal year 1964.65; and
WHEREAS, said City Council has now considered the said
proposed budget as so submitted and all evidence at.-said public
hearing, with reference thereto, and has now. made all changes and.
amendments thereto which Said' City Council 'up to -this time desires
to make therein; and
WHEREAS, the original of-_safd'proposed budget has"now
been revised so as to reflect each and all"ofI the ~amendments,
changes and modifications which the Said' City Council up to. the
time of the adoption'of this resolution, believes should be made
in said proposed budget as so subShinted;
NOW, TH'EREFORE, THE CITY EOUNC'i'L OF THE CITY:'.OF BAKERS-
FIELD, CALIFORNIA,. DOES HEREBY'. RESOLVE AND' ORDER AS .FOLLOWS:"
-. SECTION 1'. That the original ,of' 'the. saidI .propoSed

year 1964-.65 as so submittedi amended, modified and corrected and
~ic~' as' so submitted~' amended, modified and corrected is now before
this Council, be placed on file in' the office of the 'City Clerk of
the .City .of Bakersfield, Californ{a, open to~public inspection, and
that as s0"on file the same'be andT.it is hereby'referred to and
this reference expressly inc0rpor~ted.herein and made.'a part hereof-.
-SECTION 2. That Said City Council of said City of
· Bakersfield·., California, does hereby lapprove' and.' adopt the said
proposed budget of the City of Bakersfield, 'California, for the
fiscal year 1964-'65 as so amended', modified.. and c0rrect~d."
. SECTION 3. That the Said..budget 'fOr Said fiscal year
1964-65 so.submitted, amended, modified, corrected and filed shall
be .the budget for the City of Bakersfield, 'California for said
fiscal 'year 1964'65 as contemplated to be'made 'by this Council unde~
the requirements ·of Section 53 of the Charter of said City.
SECTION 4. That the· City Clerk shall certify to the.
· a·dqpti~'n lof this resolution ·and thenceforth and ther·eafter. the
same shall be in full forc'e and ~ffect.·
