BAKERSFIELD DECLARING THAT NO PROTESTS WEE
MADE TO THE ANNEXATION OF TERRITORY DESIG'
NATED. AS BRUNDAGE N0, I PROPOSED TO BE
ANNEXED ,TO THE CiTY OF ..BAKERSFIELD.- -...
'WHEREAS, pursuant to the GOvernment Code· of .'the State
of California, Sections 35300 and.~following, proceedings have been
instituted for 'the annexati0n..of Certain territory designated as
"Brundage No ~ 1", and
WHEREAS, pursuant to such proceedings a petition was
signed and filed for such annexation, a 'resolUtion adopted
describing boundaries of the terri.tory soughe to be annexed;
publications had on said-resolution'.and'a time adopted for hearing
of protests from'persons owni~g reai property in. said territory,
and' "
WHEREAS, a hearing was duly' he ld in the- Counci 1 Chambers
of the City Hall in the City of Ba'kersfie·ld, the 6th day of July,
1964, at the hour o.f eight o'clock p..m. pursuant to notices given
in compliance with law, and -.
WHEREAS, at said hearing nO written or orai protests
were made by any person owning property'.within the· aforesaid
terri tory;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the COuncil df the
City of Bakersfield that;
Said City Council finds and resoives that no protest
has~ been made to the annexation Of 'real property tO the City of
Bakersfield, said property being .designated as "Brundage No.~ 1"
and more particularly described' in' Resolution No. 31-64 of the City
· ' of Bakersfield..
