BE IT RESOLVED by the Council oi ~he City of. Bakersfield
'that Resolution No. ~32-64 be amended~to read as follows:
. WHEREAS, in order. that ticket sales'.for the Bakersfield
Civic Auditorium may be facilitated '~nd the monies collected' for -
said ticket sales be deposited with a banking institution promptly
after said ticket 'sales are madez and-- "
WHEREAS, in order tha~ payments for theatrical and
entertainment services may be made in-compliance With the. custom·
of the theatrical professions and.
WHEREAS, there is. now no account existing for· the
'deposit of monies collected.or the payment. from said. monies.fo'r
theatricalsexpenses 'and serViceS~
.NOW~ THEREFORE~ BE IT RESOLVED by the'Council of the City
of Bakersfield that the Auditor-Controller 8f the City of Bakers-
field iS hereby directed to open an account at the ~nited california
Bank, 'Ma'in Branch. inBakersfield, for the purpose of. making day and
night deposits '0f ticket sales mo'ney for"ticket sales made at the
CiViC Auditorium ~nd that the Auditor-Controller is further instructed
to arrange'for said account to be'~,drawn On by checks. issued by the
Manager or acting Manager of the CiVic..Auditorium of the City. of
Bakersfield for the purposes of paying for theater services or'
theatrical performances over the wee. kends andat such other.times
when a draft or check cannot eaS'~l-y be drawn by the/AuditOr~Cnntroller
