WHEREAS, in order that ticket 'sales fo~ the BakerSfield
Civic Auditorium may be facilitated and 'the monies co:llected for

deposit of monies collected or the payment' from said .monies for
theatrical expenses and serviceS,
· NOW, THEREFORE, BE .iT RESOLVED 'by the Council of the
City of Bakersfield that the Auditor-Con[rolier of 'the City of
Bakersfield is hereby directed to' 'open 'an.':account at"the· United
California Bank, Main 'Branch in. BakerS.field,. for :the purpose of
depositing. 'ticket saies money for ticket' saleS' made over .'the 'week-
end at the civic AuditOrium and thatthe'Auditor-Controiler.is
further instructed to arrange' for said'account to be .drawn on By
checks issued by the .Manager or- acting Manager of the ,Civic'
Auditorium '0·f the City 'of Bakersfield..for' the .purpOSes of' paying
for theater ~services or theatrical *performances. over the weekends
and at such other .times when a draft or check cannot. easily be
drawn'by the Auditor-Controlle~1 and the City Treasurer.
