HomeMy WebLinkAboutRES NO 25-64RESOLUTION NO. 25-64' RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF BAKERSFIELD ORDERING THE VACATION. OF.A PORTION OF SAN DIMAS STREET IN THE.CITY OF BAKERSFIELD. WHEREAS, on the 30th day-of March, 1964, the Council of .the City of Bakersfield, pursuant to ehe provisions of' the "'Street Vacation Act of 1941", being. Division 9, Part 3, of the Streets and Highways Code of the State o'f Califor.nia, passed and adopted its Resolution of Intention No. 790, declaring its intention to order the vacati6n of a portion of San'Dimas Street, City of Bakersfield, California, and -, · WHEREAS, said Council did fix .a time and place f0'r hearing all persons interested in or objecting. to 'said proposed vacation, which said hearing was held on the 2.0th' day of April, 1964~ after notices"were duly posted aS ·required by·law, ·and · '- WHEREAS,' this-Council .after duly considering the .matter, does hereby find and .resolve as follows: ~., 't. That that portion of San'Dimas Street, Situate in · the'* City Of Bakersfield, County of Kern, State. of ~alifornia, more particularly described as follows, i'~ ..unnecessary' for. present or" prospective public street purposes: ..' .. COmmencing at the southeast' corner of LOt 9 ,' BlOck' 18, 'HOmaker Park, as said Lot and Block are shown On the 'map. of Homaker Park recorded April 1, 1915., ,in BoOk 3 of Maps at'page '9 in .the office of the County Recorder of said Kern County, 'thence northerly along · the·east line of said Block 18, having a bearing'.of'N.0°48'42"E-, 23.'22 feet to the true point of beginning; .. .. THENCE (1)· continuing N.0°48'42"E., 22.33 feet along .'the .said east line of Block 18, also being the west .bOundary line of San Dimas Street, of 64 feet in Width;.
