RESOLUTION RESCINDING RESOLUTION OF
INTENTION NO. 777 AND MODIFYING AND
AMENDING RESOLUTION ADOPTING PLANS
AND SPECIFICATIONS IN THE MATTER OF
THE IMPROVEMENT OF STREETS BETWEEN
PLANZ ROAD AND JULIAN AVENUE AND ON
JULIAN AVENUE WITHIN PROPOSED PUBLIC
IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT NO. 777.
WHEREAS, on the 16th day of September, 1963, the City Council
of the City of Bakersfield, California, did adopt two resolutions entitled
"Resolution Adopting Plans and 'Specifications in the Matter of the Improve-
ment of Streets Between Planz Road and Julian Avenue and on Julian
Avenue Within Proposed Public Improvement District No. 777" and
entitled "Resolution of the City Council of the City of Bakersfield,
California, Declaring its Intention to Order the Construction of Certain
Improvements within a Proposed Public Improvement District No. 777,
Declaring the Work to be of More than Local or Ordinary Pub!i'c Benefit
and Describing the District to be Benefited by said Work and to Pay the
Cost and Expenses Thereof; and Fixing a Time and Place for Hearing
Objections Thereto"; and
WHEREAS, the City Council now desires to modify said Resolution
Adopting Plans and Specifications and to rescind said Resolution of
Intention No. 777;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by this City Council of
the City of Bakersfield that the said Resolution of Intention No. 777 be
and the same is hereby rescinded.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED by this City Council of the City of
Bakersfield that the said Resolution Adopting Plans and Specifications
concerning the proposed improvements in the proposed Public Improve-
ment DiStrict N0. 777 be modified and amended'so that the said plans
and specifications as prepared by the City Engineer of said City, as
amended and presently on file with the City Clerk of said City, be and
the same are the plans and specifications for the improvement work

and construction to be done.
BE IT RESOLVED FURTHER that the said work and improvement
to be done concerning said district be of the sizes and dimensions and
done in the manner and places and to the grades as shown and indicated
on said plans and specifications as so amended.

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was duly
passed and adopted by the City Council of the City of Bakersfield on
the 2nd day of December, 1963, by the following vote:
