CITY OF BAKERSFIELD, CAL IFORNIA. 'WHEREAS, on the 12th'day Of AuguSt, 1963, the Council of the City of Bakersfield' pursuant· to the.provisions Of the '~'Pubtic service Easements Vacation Law," being SeCtiOns 50430 'to 50445' inclusive, of the'GoVernment. Code of· 'the State 6f Cal'ifornia, passed-.and adopted 'its Resolution 'of Intent{on'No. 784.,'· declaring its intention to order ·the vacation of a portion of the public service easement, also referred'to. herein as a pub liCutili·ties easement, in 25th Street in the City. of .Bak.ersfie!d, as said PUbliE·Utilities reservation is defined in"Resolution of IntentiOn' No. 744, and also shown on the map of Tract N0. 2815 ree'orded .July 18, 1963,· in Book 13 of Maps ate.pages 170 throUgh ·1741 in the office of the County' Recorder of Kern County,. California, situate within'the. City 6f Bakersfield, County· of Ker'n, State of..CalifOrnia, and .... · WHEREAS, said Council did .fix a ..time and place 'for' hearing all persons interested in or objecting to said propoied'vacation,. which said hearing was held on the 3rd day of Septe.mber, i963, after notices were' duly published and posted as required .by law, '. and . . WHEREAS, this Council after dul. y considering the..matter, does hereby find and resolve as follows: 1. That said public service easement"als6 referred' to herein aspUblic utilities easement, .hereinafter described,· is unnecessary for' present or' prospective public use: -... An easement., the' centerline .of which is described as .· follows: beginning at the intersection of the' ...northerly , southerly-prolongation of the easterly right: of .way .line of Oak Street with a line parallel'with and 'diStant 11. feet southerly as measured· perpendicular to the northerly right of way line of 25th Street; thence east along said parallel line .a distance of 685.-75 feet; thence. S.·71.° 01~'' E~ a distance of 39 feet' more or less to zintersect the .northeasterly, southwesterly prolongation ·of the northwesterly right of .way· line of the 'Stine Canal.· Extension; also retaining another easement within a portion of said 25th Street the centerline of which is described as follows: beginning at a point· on the center- line of the above described easement, distant' thereon, 35.75 feet east of the westerly terminus. thereof; thence. N. ·16° 07, W..a distance of 11.5 feet~ more or less,·.to intersect the northerly right of way line of said 25th Street, as said streets zand canal is shown on. the "Map of the City of Bakersfield" filed in' the office of the County Recorder of Kern County, .November '25, 1898, in Book 1 of Maps at-pages 13 and 14~ 2" That said public service easement be and 'the same is hereby Vacated .·and abandoned for public r ServiCe easement purposes, subject to and in ~onformity with the reservation Of the easement' contained in and contemplated by said .ResOlution of Intention No. 784. Reference to said ResolutiOn of Intention is hereby.made for' further particulars. 3.
