RESOLUTION ADOPTING PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS,
CAREFUL ESTIMATES, AND DISTRICT MAP IN THE'
MATTER OF THE CONSTRUCTION OF SIDEWALKS AND
NECESSARY RETAINING WALL ON DUKE DRIVE BETWEEN
VANDERBILT AND HALEY STREETS, IN THE CITY OF
BAKERSFIELD, CALIFORNIA.
WHEREAS, the City Engineer of the City of Bakersfield, California,
in compliance with the order of this City Council of said City, has
submitted to this City Council the' estimate of the cost of, the map of
the district to be benefited by, and the plans and specifications for
the improvement .work and construction hereinafter described; and
WHEREAS, after due consideration thereof, this ,City Council
desires at this time to adopt and approve said plan,s and specifications,
cost estimates and map of the district to be benefited.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of
Bakers field, that the plans and specifications, estimates of cost,
and district map of the district to be benefited, as prepared by the
City Engineer of said City, which were submitted and filed with the
City Clerk of said City on the B~th-'I day of February, 1962, be and the
same are hereby adopted and approved for the following improvement
work and construction to be done in the City of Bakersfield, to wit:
The construction of sidewalks and necessary retaining
wall fronting on Lots 21-51, .inclusive, of Tract 1700,
City of Bakersfield, California.
That all of the above described work and improvement shall be
done in pursuance of the "Improvement Act of 1911" being Division 7 of
the Streets and Highways Code of the state of california.
The plan for said work is delineated on a plan consi~sting of
one sheet, entitled "Plan for Public Improvement District No. 768."

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was passed
and adopted'by 'the Council .of the City Of Baker. sfield'-at a..regular
meeting thereof held on the 3rd day of September+, 1963, by the
