RESOLUTION DECLARING RESULT OF SPECIAL ELECTION
HELD IN THE SEVENTH WARD OF TEE CITY OF BAKERSFIELD
FOR THE PURPOSE OF FILLING A VACANCY ON TEE .CITY

WHEREAS, by Resolution No. 26-63, passe'~' and ·adopted by this
Council on April l,. 1963, 'a special .ele:ction In' 'the. Seventh Ward of
the City of Bakersfield was called for the .purpose of filling a
Vacancy in the office of Councilman from the Seventh'Ward, said election
to be he ld on July 16, 1963, and
WHEREAS, after notice as required by law said election was
duly held'and ·conducted on the aforesaid date·, .and ths .retup..ns0f said
election have Deen canvassed by this Council. '
· NOW,. THEEFOE, in compliance with SeCtion 22933 of the Elections
Code of the State of California, this Council 'does hereby determine
and declare the results of said special election to be as follows:
