WHEREAS.;' on the 20th day' bf May~ 1963., th.e. '. COunCil .of the
City of..Baker'sfield, .pursuant to the provisions of the '~'Street
Vacation Act of-1941," being DiVision 9', 'Part .3~ o:f'the Streets and
Highways Code of' the' State of Californian, passed and adqpted its
Resolution. of Intention No~ 781, declaring its" intention.'to order
the vacation' of.a portion' of Je'fferson Street,· City·i. of Bakersfield,.
California, and
· WHEREAS, said Council did fix a time and place for hearing
all persons interested in or objecting to .said proposed vacation~
which said hearing was held on the 17th day of June, 1963, .after
notices were duly posted as 'required' by .'law, and
WHEREAS, this Council after duly considering the matter,
does. hereby find and resolve'as follows:
1. That that portion ofJefferson Street, situate in
the CitX of BakerSfield, County of Kern, State-of. California, more
particularly described as followS, is unne. cessary'.for present or
prospective public street purposes: -
Beginning at the northeast corner of Block 15, a point on the
southerly boundary line of said Je'fferson Street·;
THENCE (1) northerly along the northerly p'rolongatiTon..of-the
.easterly-boundary of said'Block 15 to the sou'theast
corner of Block 12, a 'point on the northerly boundary
line of said Jefferson Street;
THENCE (2) westerly along the southerly boundary of'said Block
