A RESOLUTION AND ORDER ESTABLISHI.NG VOTING
PRECINCTS, APPOINTING PRECINCT ELECTION
OFFICERS AND ESTABLISHING FEES THEREFOR, AND
DESIGNATING POLLING PLACES FOR THE SPECIAL
ELECTION.IN THE SEVENTH WARD TO FILL A
VACANCY ON THE COUNCIL, TO BE HELD ON THE
'16TH DAY OF JULY, 1963.
BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the City of Bakersfield,
as follows:
1. That for the purpose of holding the special election
in the Seventh Ward to fill a vacancy on the Council, on the 16th
day of July, 1963, the following voting precincts are hereby

2. That the compensation for said election officers is
hereby fixed as follows: Inspectors, $21.00 each; Judges and Clerks,
$18.00 each, and the rental for the use of each polling place is
hereby fixed at $18.00.
3. That The Bakersfield Californian, a daily newspaper
of general circulation is hereby designated' for the publication of
all notices to be given by the City Clerk pertaining to this
election.

passed and adopted by the Council of the City of Bakersfield at a
regular meeting thereof held on the 27th day of May, 1963, by the
