RESOLUTION ANNEXING'CERTAIN. TERRITORY
DESIGNATED AS "WESTCHESTER NO. 2" TO. THE
GREATER BAKERSFIELD SEPARATION OF GRADE
DISTRICT. · ,
WHEREAS,. the Council of '-the City of Bakers field did, on "
the 18th day of March, 1963, pass its ResolUtion of Intention No.
z21-63,1 to include certain property designated as '~Wes.tChester. No. 2,"
· within the Greater Bakers field .S~paration of Grade District, and
did set the time 'and place for hearing objections to ·the inclusion
of said territory within said District;. and.
WHEREAS, said Resolution of'Intention. was duly and
'legally published. once a week for two weeks~ the first publication
ther'eSfI"being at least.twenty days prior to the date of' the
hearing as provided by law; and I.-~.--- .
WHEREAS, .Monday, the 29th ·day. of April, 1963, at the,
hour of 8:00 o'clock P.M., was set as the time' for hearing objections
to the inclusion of said territory within said District'; .and
WHEREAS, no objection has been fii~'d or .presented' to
said Council to the inclusion of Said territory Or any part. thereof'
+within the Greater Bakersfield Separation of.Grade District, and
the Council ·further finds that all. of said territory will be
benefited by its .inclusion within said Distri'ct.'
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED AND, THE" COUNCIL DOES ·
HEREBY FIND:
That no .objection to the .inclusion of said territory or
any part thereof within the Greater Bakers field Separa[ion of Grade
· District, has been .filed or presented to this Council.

is described as follows:
A parcel of land si.tuate in the County of 'Kern, .State of California,
and being a portion of Sections 25 and' 26, Township 29' South,·
Range '27 East, M.D .M:
Beginning at the point of intersection of 'the-east line 'of Oak
Street,. of 82.5 feet in width, as said Oak Street is Shown on the.
"Map of the City of Bakers field" recorded November 25,~ 1898, in
Book 1 of Maps at pages 13 and 14 in the office'of the County
Recorder of said Kern County and the northerly right 'of iway 'line
of the State Highway - District VI, Ker 58, Section L, said inter-
section being a. point in the Current· corporate boundary. of the·
City of Bakersfield;
THENCE (1) N.73°25!20"W., departing from the corporate boundary,
360.61 feet along the said northerly right of Way line;
THENCE (2) N.32°ll'20"E.. 283.48 feet;
THENCE (3) N.52°01'10"E., 249.43 feet,· more or less, 'to intersect
the said east line of Oak· Street', be, ing a point on the
current corporate boundary;
THENCE (4) S.0° 13' 50"W., along' the S~id· corporate'boundary, ..496 ..30
feet to the point of beginning and containing 2.246
acres of land more' or 'less.
