A RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL. ·OF THE CITY OF' .
BAKERSFIELD DECLARING THAT 'NO PROTESTS WERE
MADE TO THE ANNEXATION OF TERRITORY DESIG-
NATED AS WESTCHESTER NO. 2 PROPOSED TO BE
ANNEXED TO THE CITY OF BAKERSFIELD.-
WHEREAS, pursuant to the Government Code of·ithe· State
of California, Sections 35300 and ·following, proceedings have been
instituted for the annexation of Certain ·territory' designated as

"Westchester No. 2,
WHEREAS,. pursuant to such proceedings a petition was
signed ahd 'filed for such. annexation, 'a resolution ' ad0.pted
describing boundaries' of the territory. sought to be' annexed~.
publications had on said resolution and a time adopted for hearing
of protests from persons owning real property in said territory,
and
WHEREAS, a hearing was duly held in the Council .Chambers
of' the '-City Hall in the City of Bakers field, the' 29th day of April,.
1963, at the hour of eight o'cloCk p.m. pursuant to notices given
in compliance with law, and
WHEREAS, at said hearing no 'written or oral protests
were made by any person owning property within the afore~said
territory;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of' ~he
City of Bakers field that;
Said City Council finds and resolves that no protest
has been made to the annexation ·Of real p'roperty to the City of
Bakersfield, said property being desi'gnated as "Wes/tch&ster 'No. 2"
City of Bakers field.

I HEREBY CERTIFY that 'the fore'going Resolution was
passed and adopted by the CounCil of the City of Bakers'field at a
regular meeting thereof held on the .29th day of April 1963., by
