A RESOLUTION OF THE CO.UNCIL OF THE CITY OF
BAKERSFIELD DECLARING THAT. NO ~PROTESTS WERE
MADE TO THE ANNEXATION OF .TERRITORY DESIG--
NATED AS CASTRO NO. 3 PROPOSED TO BE
ANNEXED TO THE 'CITY OF BAKERSFIELD..
· WHEREAS, pursuant~to the' Government Code of the State
of' California, Sections 35300 and 'fol·lowing, proceedings have been
instituted for the annexation of cer[ain territory designated as.
"Castrol No. 3" and
WHEREAS, pursuant to such proceedings a.'petition was
signed and filed for such annexation, a resolution adopted'
.describing boundaries of the territory' sought to b~ annexed,
publications had on said resolution and a time 'adopted for·· hearing
of protests from persons. owning reai·.property'-in s~id territory,

WHEREAS, a hearing was duly held in the .'Council Chambers
of the City Hall in the City of Bakersfield, the 8th day of April,
1963, ·at the hour of eight ·o?Clock p.m." pursuant to notices given.
in compliance with law, and
WHEREAS, at said hearing no .written 'or oral protests
were"'made. by any person owning property within the aforesaid .

Said City Council finds and' resolves that no' protest
· 'has been made to the annexation of real property to the; City of
Bakersfield, said property being designated as "Castro No~ 3"
and more particularly described in Resolution No 13263 of the'
City'jof Bakersfield..
I HEREBY CERTIFY that the 'foregoing Resolution was
passed and'adopted .by the Council of the. City of Bakers field at a
regular meeting thereof held on the 8th day of April, 1963, by
