RESOLUTION 0F' CITY OF BAKERSFIELD AUTHOR-...
IZING MAYOR TO SIGN AGREEMENT WITH'
DEPARTMENT OF FINANCE, STATE OF CALIFORNIA,
FOR A POPULATION ESTIMATE~
WHEREAS, it is desirable and in the public.. interest to
have a population estimate which will indicate any population in-
crease in the City of Bakersfield since the la'St F&deral Census,
and - ' '

WHEREAS, it ·is necessary to c'ontract with the Department
of Finance, State Of California, for such an estimate,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the
· City .of Bakers field that the City-enter. into an agreement with the
Finance Department, State of California., for' a population estimate
and the Mayor of the City of ·Bakersfield is authorized to ·sign
said agreement on behalf Of the City of Bakersfield.

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing ReSolution was'
passed and adopted by the Council 'of the City of Bakersfield at a
· regular meeting thereof held on the. 8th day of April, 1963, by
