RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CIT~Z OF BAKERSFIELD
ADOPTING BUDGET FOR EXPENDITURE OF
FUNDS ALLOCATED FROM THE STATE HIGHWAY FUND TO 'CITES
WHEREAS, a master agreement has been executed by the City
of Bakersfield , hereinafter referred to as
the city, and the State Department of Public Works, Division of
'Highways, hereinafter referred to as the department, on
April 3 , 1961 , for expenditure of state allocated
funds; and,
WHEREAS, a project statement has been prepared and was
submitted to the department on December 14 , 19 62 showing
the estimated expenditures of such funds recommended o~'be made
during the 1962 -63 fiscal year; and,
WHEREAS, a budget, approved by the department on January 14,
1963 has been presented to the city council in accordance with
the project statement submitted by the city;.and,
WHEREAS, the city council has heard read said budget, as
approved by the department, and is familiar with the contents
thereof;
THEREFORE, be it resolved by the city council of the City
of Bakersfield that said budget be and is
~hereby adopted as the budget of expenditures recommended to be
made from such funds during the 1962'~fiscal year.
