A RESOLUTION OF THE' COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF'
BAKERSFIELD DECLARING THAT NO PROTESTS WERE
MADE TO THE ANNEXATION OF TERRITORY DESIG-
NATED AS LUM NO. 1 PROPOSED TO BE ANNEXED TO
THE CITY OF BAKERSFIELD. .., ,
WHEREAS, pursuant to .the Government COde of the State
'of California, Sections 35300 and following, proceedings have been
instituted for the annexation of c~rtain territory designated as
"Lure No. l"' and '
.WHEREAS, pursuant to such'proceedings a 'petition was
signed and filed for such annexation, a 'resolution adopted'l·
describing boundaries of the. territory sought to 'be ·annexed,
publications .had on said resolution and a time .adopted' for hearing
of protest's from persons oWning real. property in Said .territory,
and
-. ..WHEREAS, a hearing was duly held in the council Chambers
of the City. Hall in the City of Bakers field, the 18th day of
February, 1963, at the hour of eight O" clock .p.m',''~ .pursuant to
notices given in compliance with law, and
WHEREAS', at said hearing no written or oral protests
· were made by any person owning property within the. aforesaid

territory;'
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by· the Council of the

City of BakerSfi'eld that;
Said City Council finds and resolves that no. 'protest

has been made to the annexation of real'.property.l to the City of
Bakersfield, said property being designated as "Lum No'. 1". and
more particularly described in Resolution No. 1-63 of .the City of
Bakers fie ld. ·,
. I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing'. Resolution-was'
