RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL' OF. THE CITY OF
BAKERSFIELD, ORDERING* THE'~VACATION OF A
" PORTION OF 13TH STREET 'I'N THE CITY OF
BAKERSFIELD.
.. WHEREAS, on the 14th day. of 'January~ '1963, the' Council
of the City of Bakersfield,' pursuant. to th~ provisions 'of the "street
vacation Act of 1941',"' being Division. 9, Part.. 3, of' the Streets.
and-Highways code of the State Of CalifOrnia; passed ..and adopted
its ReSolution of Intention No. 779=, declaring, its intention to'
order the vacation of a portion 'of..13th Street.~ City of B~kersfield,
California, and ' . .''
WHEREAS, said COuncil did fix. a time' and pla~e for hearing-.
all. p'e'~"Sons interested in or objecting' .to'. said proposed vacation,
which said hearing. was held on the .4th day .of'February, 1963', after
notices were' duly posted as required by iaw, and ...... '.
'WHEREAS, this Council after duly con'sidering"the matter,
does hAreby find and resolve as foll'ows:
1~ That that portion of 13th Street, situate within the
City of Bakersfield, County of Kern, StateI of California., lying"
between Blocks 363 and 396. as same is shown on the."Map. of the
City of Bakersfield" filed- for record November 25~'. 18.98', in Book 1
of Maps at pages 13 and 14 .in the office "of the-county Recorder
of said Kern County, more partic{~lar. ly described 'as follows, .is
unnecessary for present or prospective public street -purposes':
Beginning' 'at .the northeast corner of said.Block 396 a point on the
southerly boundary line of said 13th 'Street, of 82.5 feet in
width; .. ' '
