A RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
BAKERSFIELD PRESCRIBING THEHOLIDAYS DURING
THE YEAR 1963, TO WHICH ALL EMPLOYEES OF THE
CITY OF BAKERSFIELD SiiALL BE ENTITLED.
WHEREAS, SectiOn 3.64.330 of the',Municipal Code of the
City of Bakersfieldprovides that all employees of the City shall
be enti.tled. to eight holidays per year, which said holidays.nshall
be selected and.enumerated by resolution of.the Council during the
month of December preceding each calendar year for which said'.'
holidays are to be selected.
NOW,. THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council 'of the.City
of Bakersfield, that the following holidays are hereby selected as
the legal holidays for the employees of the City o'f Bakersfield
for the' y~ar 1963:
January 1st
February 22nd -.
May 30th
July 4th
First Monday in September
.November llth, known as "Veterans Day"
December 25th
Every day appointed by the President or
Governor for a public fast, thanksgiving,
or holiday

I HEREBY CERTIFY that the foregoing' Resolution was passed
and adopted by the Council of the'City of Bakersfield at a regular
meeting thereof held on the 10th dayof December, 1962, by the
following vote:
