A RESOLUTION OF TRE COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF BAKERSFIELD CALLING A SPECIAL ELECTION '-
FOR THE PURPOSE OF RECALLING THE COUNCIL'
MAN OF WARD 4 OF THE CITY. OF BAKERSFIELD.
WHEREAS, a petition calling for the recall 'of ·the
Councilman of the Fourth Ward in the City Of Bakers field has been
duly filed with the City Clerk and certified by the City Clerk as
sufficient and presented to the Council .o f'.' the .. City-0f Bakersfield
as .provided for in the Charter of" the City of Bakersfield, and
WHEREAS, the City Clerk sUbmftted the recall petition to
the City Council on the 13th day of November, 1962, and
WHEREAS, in accordance with Section93 Of the' Charter
of the City of Bakersfield, the City COuncil must call a recall
election not earlier than forty days nor more than sixty days from
the time of.pr'esentation to the City Council,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the Council of the
· . City of Bakers field, that'a special recall ·election be held and
the same is hereby called to be held in'theFourth· Ward·.~f said
city~ for the purpose of recalling the Councilman of ·said ward, which
election shall be held on the 8th day of January., 196 3.

I HEREBY .CERTIFY that the foregoing Resolution was
passed and adopted bythe CounCil of the City of Bakersfield at a
regular meeting thereof held on the 26th day of November, 1962, by
