A RESOLUTION OF THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF BAKERSFIELD CALLING A SPECIAL ELECTION
FOR THE PURPOSE OF RECALLING THE COUNCIL-
MAN OF WARD 2 OF THE CITY OF BAKERSFIELD.
WHEREAS, a petition calling for the recall of the
Councilman of the Second Ward in the City of Bakersfield has been
duly filed with the 'City Clerk and certified by· the City Clerk as
suffi'cient'and .presented to the Council of the=. city'of Bakers~ield
as ·provided for in the Charter of the City of Bakersfield, and
WHEREAS·, the City Clerk submit·ted the recall petition to
the City. Council on the 13th day of November, 1962, and
WHEREAS, in accordance with' Section 93 of the Charter
of 'the City of Bakers field, the' City Eoun~il must.call a recall
election not earlier than forty days· nor more than six.ty. days from
the time of presentation to the City CounCil,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE iT RESOLVED .by the Council of the
City of Bakersfield, that a special recall election be held and
· the same is hereby called to be held in the Second Ward of said'
city, for th'e purpose of recalling the Councilman of said ward, which
election shall be held on the 8th day of January , 1963 .
